Så fungerar det
Den packningsförsedda plattvärmeväxlarens värmeöverföringsyta består av en serie korrugerade plattor, sammansatta mellan en ram och tryckplattor för att bibehålla trycket. Packningar fungerar som tätningar mellan plattorna. Vätskor strömmar normalt motflödes genom värmeväxlaren. Detta ger den mest effektiva termiska prestandan och gör det möjligt med mycket små temperaturskillnader, dvs temperaturskillnaden mellan det utgående processmediet och det inkomna servicemediet.
